David Borman

“A young, accomplished musician," David Borman understands that music has the true power to  educate,  inspire, and change people. With a lifelong goal of performing and conducting musical works that leaves a lasting impression he is studying music at the University of Louisville. Among his  accomplishments, David served as the principal and soloist Euphonium for the Indiana Music Educators All-State Honor Band in January 2014 and he made his Carnegie Hall debut in April 2015. Also David enjoys teaching brass, voice, and piano at Maxwell’s House of Music in Jeffersonville, IN. In addition to being a skilled instrumentalist and vocalist, he is an active freelance conductor in the Southern Indiana and Louisville area. Currently, he serves as the general music director and principal conductor for the Cardinals for the Appreciation of Music Theatre and assistant conductor for the Louisville Civic Orchestra. David is currently studying Euphonium with Clinton McCanless and conducting with Kimcherie Lloyd.
