graders at Northaven Elementary School in Jeffersonville, IN partners
with the Green Team from First Presbyterian Church planting two trees

On January 8, 2023 members of the First Presbyterian Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana assembled 200 snack bags for "Exit 0." Each month "Exit 0" distributes more than several hundred snack bages to the area's homeless population.

Each year, on an on-goiung basis, The Mission & Outreach committee collects coats and other warm outter wear donated by contributing members of 1st Prez
delivery the latesat collection of coats and other outter wear for .
Virgil meets with volunteers from "Exit 0" homeless residents living in
the Jeffersonville area. | | 
| "1st Prez" completes its committment to a sponsored Afghan Family.
The church is saying goodbye to a refugee family we sponsored with the
help of Kentucky Refugee Ministries (KRM). We gathered food, clothing,
furniture, baby items and assisted with the rent for an apartment upon
their settlement in the U.S. Members of the Mission &
Outreach committee also visited the family every few weeks helping them
learn English and get acclimated with their new home in Louisville,Y.
The
Committee is searching for additional members to assist with this
ministry. If you are interest contact the church office. A background
check is required through KRM.

January 14, 2024 | A Great Big "Thank You!" To All Who Helped Fill Gift Bags for "Exit Zero"! First
Prez's Mission & Outreach Committee delivered 200 gift bags (enough
for one or two meals per person, plus a pair of warm socks!) to
“Exit Zero” following last Sunday's volunteer gathering to prepare the
gift bags for distribution. | |
