Among the aims set forth in our congregational mission statement is the goal of ministering to the needs of the "residents of the community" and promoting peace and justice in the world.

Toward those ends we provide various kinds of support to ministries at home and abroad.

Some of the ministries supported by First Presbyterian Church of
Jeffersonville, Indiana include the Center for Lay Ministries, Catalyst Rescue Mission (formerly Haven House), Jesus Cares at Exit 0, Bliss House and Bliss House II, the Community Kitchen, Loaves and Fishes, the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Camp Pyoca, as well as The Christian Medical Center Hospital in Vellore, India, Family Health ministries (Haiti) and various other ministries.

Our goal is to devote a tithe (10 percent) of our income received from pledges, along with other expressions of partnership and support, to these and other mission and outreach projects.
